Visit One of Our Museums!

Welcome!

The Los Angeles Fire Department Museum and Memorial offers one of the most exciting, realistic, and valuable fire service experiences available anywhere in the world. With two museum facilities, plus our new memorial plaza, your fire service adventure is just around the corner.

Each museum facility includes vintage and authentic Los Angeles Fire Department apparatus, including equipment not on display anywhere else in the United States. In addition, wonderful collections of memorabilia related to the communities of Hollywood, San Pedro and Los Angeles overall will keep you engaged for hours at a time.

Our new Memorial Plaza houses the Fallen Firefighter Memorial, dedicated to those firefighters who gave their lives to save the life and property of others. A memorial wall lists the name of each firefighter - and reaching out and touching the wall is a memorable and emotional experience.

If you’re interested in the fire service, the history of Los Angeles, or the remarkable and unmatched history of the Los Angeles Fire Department, we invite you to visit us, spend some time, and join us as a member of our Historical Society.
