Remarkable Artifacts
Each museum facility includes a range of remarkable artifacts that will amaze visitors of every age and background. Not only are there beautifully restored apparatus (and some not so finished restorations, too), but dramatic photos of major fires, rescues, and significant incidents in the Los Angeles area. Our museums also include regional community artifacts, fire helmets from around the world, famous paintings, badges, models, and much, much more. Each of our static displays are cared for by our staff and a wonderful squad of museum volunteers. From polishing brass to loading hose into the bed of a Triple Combination Apparatus, there’s plenty to do and there’s lots of fun to be had while doing whatever it is to preserve the contents of any display.
Our displays change over time, so please make certain to come back and see us from time to time. In addition, we provide a variety of annual events, ideal for learning about specific incidents and historical events.
